Once you have the paint on, you can begin to use stencils to add detail to the paintings. I really like Heidi Swapp and Balzer Design stencils. I used Color Box Ink because their colors are vivid and easy to layer. I also drip fluid acrylic down the face of the painting to add detail. I often paint a layer, let it dry for thirty seconds, and blot it with a paper towel to create layers of colors. When I’m finished with stenciling and my other last minute details, I let everything dry for 24 hours. I spray the painting with a sealer, and it’s done!
